Design Services

The design process can look different for everyone depending on project needs and client preference. Our job is to tailer the process to your specific needs. We start off all meetings with a no cost Initial meet and greet. The purpose of an initial meet and greet is to see whether or not we are the best fit for your project. We will chat about your project and what service might best suit your project needs. We will talk about budget, timeline and what it is like to work with Branch and Olive. This is the time for you to dive deep into any questions you may have that will help you determine if our personalities align. Further meetings are welcome. The next step would involve a design Consult. During the design consult we meet on-site, take measurements and capture photos. We will dive deeper into your project needs and preferences. We can offer solutions, create sketches, provide resources, recommend products and materials. We ask that you provide us with any Pinterest boards, houzz boards, inspiration photos and any information/sources that you have accumulated. We then proceed with conceptualization of your project/space. During conceptualization we start asking the tough questions to help you articulate your vision. We research, create mood boards, sketches, renderings and conceptual floor plans. After you've signed off on conceptualization we begin schematic design. Depending on your budget we provide up to 3 schematic design options to chose from. During schematic design we create initial floor plans, elevations and renderings. We recommend interior fixtures, materials and finishes. Once we have gotten to a great stopping point we present the rough design options. We request you to sign off on one concept to move forward with design development. During design development we fine tune the details of your project. We finalize products, material and finishes.  Finalize floor plans, elevations and construction documents. We can purchase and order materials during this phase if some aspects of the design have been finalized. After we have fine tuned the details of your project we proceed with a final design presentation that includes all final fixture and material selections, floor plans, elevations and construction drawings. If everything looks great and there are no revisions to be made we ask our clients to sign off and approve the final product. We can then proceed with ordering final and remaining fixtures, and materials. If construction permits are needed for your project we can provide assistance.
